How to Use Your Insurance

I am not in network with any insurance companies. Therefore, I’m considered an out-of-network provider. To find out if your insurance company pays for out-of-network providers you will need to call them and ask about this question.

I will provide you with a “superbill,” similar to the one you receive from your physician that has all the information your insurance company will need. You will submit the “superbill” to your insurance company and they will determine what part of my fee they are willing to pay.

So the process looks like this, you pay my fee, I provide a “superbill” that you then submit to your insurance company. They decide how much of my fee they will pay and send you a check.

You may need to go to your insurance’s website to see if their is a particular form they require for this process. If you have specific questions I advise you contact you insurance company via phone concerning their mental health benefits.
